An innovative "practice-while-you-watch" instructional method. Fully engages students and provides more time for hands-on practice.

Optional one-hour epinephrine auto-injector training and 45-minute asthma inhaler training - ideal for staff required to assist during a severe allergic reaction or asthma attack - can be added to your training program.

Four service delivery options
Option 1: A Red Cross instructor comes to your facility and trains your employees at a time that works for you -- daytime, evenings or weekends, for a minimum of eight participants per instructor.
Option 2: For those businesses with a few employees to train, we offer monthly community classes at the American Red Cross.
Option 3: Become an authorized provider and have some of your staff members trained as Red Cross instructors to provide First Aid, CPR and AED training onsite.
Option 4: Enroll employees in our blended learning training. The first part of the training is accessed online at the employee's convenience, followed by an instructor-led skills practice and assessment.
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and the American Red Cross share a common goal -- keeping American workers safe and healthy. The two signed an alliance in which both organizations provide information, guidance and access to training resources on safety and health topics including emergency preparedness, disease prevention and first aid in the workplace.
