Mission of the American Red Cross
The American Red Cross, a humanitarian organization led by volunteers, guided by its Congressional Charter and the Fundamental Principles of the International Red Cross Movement, will provide relief to victims of disasters and help people prevent, prepare for, and respond to emergencies.
Our primary services include:

First Aid/CPR/AED Training
View training dates, times, locations and information on registration and payment options. Courses are offered online, in a classroom and in the workplace.

First Aid Services
Qualified American Red Cross volunteers will provide basic first aid and first responder support at your community or workplace event.

Lifeline
America's most trusted medical alert service. Lifeline allows people to live with greater independence, peace of mind and dignity in their own homes.

Aquatics
Get information on our Learn to swim program, becoming a lifeguard or participating in our annual Lifeguard Competition. Aquatics training takes place throughout the year.

Title XX Training
It is the goal of the American Red Cross of Greater Columbus to provide all child care professionals with quality training and experiences that can be utilized in child care centers as well as in the home provider's home.

Disaster Preparedness
Fires, floods, winter storms and other disasters happen quickly and often without warning. Prepare your family, home school and workplace before one of these disasters impact you.

Disaster Response
In the greater Columbus area, Red Cross volunteers respond to one home fire each day. Learn about the help provided to local families that experience a home fire or other disaster.

Outreach/Request a Speaker
Request the American Red Cross at your next event. Volunteers are available to host information tables. Members of our Speaker's Bureau are available to present on a variety of topics.
