Volunteer with Us We are currently in need of drivers to transport blood from our drives up to Columbus. If you are a licensed driver in good standing and have flexible availability, please call our offices to begin the volunteer application process. (740) 474-5736.
Introducing new volunteers!
Rhonda Romine comes to us from Stoutsville, Ohio where she also volunteers with Community Action and Fairfield County's Head Start programs. She decided to join The American Red Cross after seeing all the good we do after a family member needed our blood services. She also has been a witness to the support we offer local firefighters and wanted to pitch in and help in any way possible. Currently, she is a monthly blood courier, taking donations up to Columbus for processing.
Addie Knox comes to us from Canal Winchester and is a full time student at Ohio University Chillicothe, studying nursing. She received her bachelor's degree from Miami University, but could no longer resist the call to nursing. She is assisting us at our monthly blood drive at Community United Methodist Church and hopes to get more involved with community outreach once her school schedule allows it.
Help us welcome these two ladies to the community, and if you see them on the job, make sure to thank them for their service.
