Chapter Employee Benefit Package

Medical Insurance

The ARCGC sponsors group insurance plans for the welfare of its employees and their families. Participation is optional, and is offered to all regular full-time and part-time employees. The plans include hospital, surgical and major medical benefits. The ARCGC contributes to the cost of individual and family membership for full-time employees. New employees may enroll during the first 30 says of employment or during an open enrollment period scheduled each year. The effective date of coverage will be the first of the month following the hire date.

  We offer the following medical providers for our employees:

  1. Blue Cross/Blue Shield Standard PPO
  2. Blue Cross/Blue Shield Premium PPO
  3. Blue Cross/Blue Shield EPO


Prescription Drug Coverage

Staff enrolled in medical insurance will receive prescription coverage through Express Scripts. This program offers both in-store and home delivery options for filling both short and long term medication needs.
 

Dental Insurance  [TOP]

The ARCGC provides two different dental programs for the welfare of its employees and families. Participation is optional and is offered to all regular full-time and part-time employees. Each plan covers preventive, basic and major treatment and orthodontia coverage. The ARCGC contributes to the cost of individual and family membership for full-time and part-time employees. New employees may enroll during the first 30 days of employment or during an open enrollment period scheduled each year. The effective date of coverage will be the first of the month following the hire date.

We offer the following dental plans:

  1. MetLife Dental PPO
  2. AETNA Dental DMO 

  
Life Insurance 
[TOP]

Basic life insurance and accidental death and dismemberment (AD&D) is provided at no cost to employees in an amount equal to one and a half times your annual salary. Basic life and AD&D are insured by MetLife.

Other plans available for purchase by employee at 100% include:

  • Supplemental Life
  • Supplemental AD&D
  • Dependent Life
     

Vision Insurance  [TOP]

The ARCGC provides United Health Care Vision Insurance for all eligible full-time and part-time employees.
 

Disability Coverage  [TOP]

All regular full time employees are automatically enrolled in the Short and Long Term disability plans through the MetLife Insurance Company because it’s 100% employer paid. These plans provide financial protection in the case of a continuing disabling illness or injury. The program pays 60% of the employee’s basic monthly salary, up to a specified maximum.

The claims waiting period is 7 days, meaning STD will start paying on the 8th day of disability. If the participant continues to be disabled for 179 days then the LTD will kick in on the 180 day. The participant does not have to file a separate LTD claim.
 

Paid Holidays  [TOP]

We observe ten paid holidays per year. If your position requires that you work on one of these days you will be compensated appropriately.

  • Thanksgiving Day & Day after

Paid Time Off (PTO)  [TOP]

PTO is provided for regular full-time and part-time employees after 30 days of continuous employment. Employees are eligible to use PTO for vacation, illness for themselves or family member. PTO may also be used for medical, dental, optical or mental health examinations/treatment, or to extend bereavement leave.
 

Employee Assistance Program  [TOP]

The Employee Assistance Program is confidential assistance to help you or a family member with personal problems such as stress, financial difficulty or substance abuse. This benefit is offered to regular full-time and part-time employees at no extra cost.

  

401K  [TOP]

Chapter offers a savings plan that allows regular full-time and part-time employees to save a portion of their salaries in a variety of investments. The Chapter contributes 2% on employees' behalf regardless of contribution rate.  
 

403b Tax Deferred Annuities  [TOP]

We offer a 403b through AETNA, Lincoln Life and Vanguard.
 

Credit Union  [TOP]

We offer our employees their choice of two credit unions: The Clara Barton Credit Union and Telhio Credit Union. Both offer competitive rates for savings, checking, Christmas Club, Vacation Club, VISA, IRA CD’s and a variety of loans. Accounts and payroll deductions can be established at any time.
 

Pre-paid Legal  [TOP]

The Hyatt Legal Plan through MetLaw offers affordable access to legal services for you and your family. The rate is covered at 100% by the employee.
 

Direct Deposit  [TOP]

You can set up to have all or part of your pay check deposited into a checking, saving or other account that will receive ARC payroll.
