American
Red Cross feeding and sheltering efforts as a result of
wind storms spawned by Hurricane Ike have ended. Red
Cross volunteers served more than 2,000 meals to greater
Columbus residents without power due to the
storms.
As
families get back to the hustle and bustle of life, the
Red Cross urges residents to take a moment to learn
about the ways they can prepare their homes and families
before another disaster, like the wind storm hits our
area.
