The Red Cross relies on generous donations of time and money to provide vital services to the people of central Ohio. Our community needs Heroes to ensure Red Cross programs and services are here to meet our needs today, tomorrow, and for years to come.

We appreciate any individual, group, or organization that helps raise funds for the American Red Cross of Greater Columbus. We want to give you legitimacy in a sometimes confused world of fundraising. If you or your group are planning an event or activity to raise funds on behalf of the Red Cross, please register to become a Hero by completing and submitting the online form below.

To ensure your understanding of the fundraising agreement terms and conditions, you will be asked to check a box to indicate you have agreed to the terms and conditions before submitting your application.

Please note: the American Red Cross does NOT advocate door-to-door solicitation. Appropriate activities/events might include: organizing a bake sale at school or church, holding a car-wash, or collecting donations from co-workers, family members and friends.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
This program does NOT grant permission to use the American Red Cross emblem; however, it does grant permission to name the American Red Cross as the beneficiary of this fundraising activity. The American Red Cross does not encourage door-to-door solicitation as means of fundraising. All fundraising materials must include the following language: Your support for the American Red Cross helps victims of disasters and saves countless lives by teaching lifesaving skills such as CPR and first aid.

All funds must be remitted to the American Red Cross of Greater Columbus within two weeks following the conclusion of your fundraising activities. Please exchange all cash donations collected for a check or money order made payable to the American Red Cross of Greater Columbus.

All checks and money orders may be mailed to the American Red Cross at 995 East Broad Street, Columbus, Ohio 43205, or delivered to our office at the same location. Our lobby is staffed with security personnel who can accept your collection between 7:00 am - 7:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Please mark your collection envelope clearly with your name and phone number.

YOU REPRESENT AND WARRANT THAT YOU WILL FORWARD TO THE RED CROSS ONE HUNDRED PERCENT (100%) OF THE DONATIONS COLLECTED. You shall indemnify, defend and hold Red Cross harmless, including its chartered units, and its directors, officers, employees, agents and volunteers from and against any and all suits, claims, demands, liabilities, damages, costs and expenses (including reasonable attorney’s fees) arising out of or relating in any way to our business and the fundraising activities authorized hereunder.

You agree to comply with all federal, state and local charitable solicitation statutes, regulations and ordinances that affect or apply to you and the fundraising activities authorized hereunder.

We respect your desire for privacy and will not share your name, address or email with third parties.
