Kurt Anders, Chief Operating Officer

Kurt Anders is the Chief Operating Officer at the American Red Cross of Greater Columbus.  A graduate of Capital University, Kurt has served twenty-seven years with the American Red Cross in Columbus; beginning his career in 1981 as the Director of Finance for both the American Red Cross of Greater Columbus (ARCGC) and the American Red Cross Blood Services Central Ohio Region.  He became the Manager, Chapter Operations in July 1995 for the ARCGC and was promoted to Chief Operating Officer in December 2003.  Responsible for oversight of the Chapter’s Human Resource, Volunteer Resource, Accounting and IT departments, Anders also oversees ARCGC activities in Fayette, Madison and Pickaway Counties.
