  • Ages & Stages of Child Development
We also offer the following 3-hour elective courses:

  • Lullabies to Literacy
  • Let's Discover Science
  • Curriculum Based Activities A-Z

These training hours can be counted towards your professional development requirements for Child Care licensing and CDA Credential. On-site trainings are also available to child care facilities.

It is the goal of the American Red Cross of Greater Columbus to provide all child care professionals with quality training and experiences that can be utilized in child care centers as well as in the home provider's home. It is our mission to see that each and every provider is well trained and well qualified to work with our children.

Registration Information

When you register for a Franklin County contracted class, you will be required to pay a refundable (upon course completion) $20.00 registration fee. This fee is NOT payable by money order, cash and checks are accepted. The registration fee assures that you have a seat in the class. To alleviate the number of no-shows to our classes, your registration fee will not be returned if you do not attend the class. Please contact Customer Service for all registration requests at (614) 251-1444.

For classes held at the American Red Cross of Greater Columbus offices, we require a photo ID (driver's license or state ID) be given to the guard at reception in exchange for an ID badge to wear during your time in the building. We ask that all class participants be on time for class. Anyone arriving more than 15 minutes past the hour will not be permitted in the class. If you are late, any registration fee will be forfeited.

The American Red Cross of Greater Columbus is here to serve the needs of Franklin County. We have enjoyed our partnership with the Early Childhood community and we value the trust that you have put in us throughout the years. We hope that we can continue to serve you.
